Shri Babji Patchilla. is the Chief Vigilance Officer of ITI Limited.
Shri Babji Patchilla, assumed charge as the Chief Vigilance Officer of M/s ITI Limited on 21st May 2026. He is a 1998 batch officer of the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) with more than 25 years of experience in corporate planning, manufacturing, material management, administration and vigilance departments of heavy engineering i.e. battle field manufacturing organization.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Finance from Osmania University, an MSc in Military Vehicles Technology from Cranfield University, UK, and has completed a Management Development Programme from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode.
During his career, he has held several key leadership positions in production, project management, strategic planning, and in administration. He has made significant contributions in enhancing manufacturing capabilities, promoting indigenisation, improving operational efficiency and strengthening organizational governance.
As the Chief Vigilance Officer of ITI Limited, Shri Babji Patchilla is responsible for promoting transparency, integrity, ethical governance and preventive vigilance across the organization. He works closely with the management to strengthen internal controls, improve systems and procedures fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and corporate good governance.
